Abstract:
This study aimed to develop and evaluate a multimedia-based learning package for enhanced student performance in selected topics in Physics in Grade 7. The research data was outsourced from 40 Grade 7 students and 30 science teacher-respondents and 30 IT teachers. The data gathering instruments used were questionnaire checklist and pretest/posttest. The results showed that the multimedia-based learning package was effective in improving student performance. The pretest had mean scores of 19.78 and standard deviation of 4.92 and interpreted as Low Proficient while posttest performance showed a mean score of 36.40 and standard deviation of 4.33 and interpreted as Nearly Proficient. The perceptual and conceptual learning experiences were positive with cognitive, affective, and psychomotor criteria. Respondents praised the material's relevance to objectives and its interactive elements. Improvements include improving sound quality, incorporating real-life examples, and providing more critical thinking content.
